In the economic field, trade between China and the Philippines is becoming increasingly frequent. As the world's second largest economy, China has a huge market and strong consumption capacity. The increasing exports of agricultural products and fruits from the Philippines to China have provided a broad market space for the development of agriculture in the Philippines. At the same time, China's investment has also injected strong impetus into the infrastructure construction of the Philippines. For example, cooperation projects in the fields of transportation and communications have greatly improved the infrastructure conditions in the Philippines and promoted economic development.

In terms of geopolitics, China has always advocated the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and advocated resolving disputes through dialogue and consultation. Unlike some countries' hegemonism and interference in other countries' internal affairs, China's concept of peaceful development has been recognized by the Philippines. President Duterte recognizes that maintaining good relations with China is conducive to maintaining regional peace and stability and creating a favorable external environment for the development of the Philippines.

In addition, cultural exchanges have also played an important role in China-Philippines relations. The two countries have a long history and rich cultural traditions. Through cultural exchange activities, we have enhanced mutual understanding and friendship. People-to-people exchanges are also becoming increasingly close, and cooperation in tourism, education and other fields is constantly deepening, further strengthening the ties between the peoples of the two countries.

However, the development of this situation has not been smooth sailing. Some external forces have tried to interfere with China-Philippines relations and undermine the friendly cooperation between the two countries by creating public pressure and imposing economic sanctions. However, the Philippine government and people firmly support President Duterte's position and maintain the stable development of China-Philippines relations.

Looking ahead, China-Philippines relations are expected to achieve more fruitful results on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. The two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation in various fields, jointly respond to global challenges, bring more benefits to the two peoples, and make greater contributions to regional peace and prosperity.
